Ash, Misty, and May are only 10 years old because the creators of the Pokémon series wanted to appeal to a younger audience. By making the main characters around the same age as the target demographic, it allows young viewers to better relate to the characters and their adventures. Additionally, having the characters be 10 years old also allows for a sense of innocence and wonder as they embark on their Pokémon journey, which aligns with the themes of friendship, growth, and discovery that are prevalent in the series. **

Misty's outfit in Pokémon has been a subject of debate and criticism. It's important to remember that Misty is a fictional character designed by artists and creators. Her outfit may have been chosen to make her stand out as a character and to reflect her personality as a confident and strong-willed trainer. However, it's also important to recognize that the portrayal of young female characters in media should be handled with sensitivity and consideration for their age and the impact on young audiences. **
